Welcome Spring

After a long winter I'm so excited for spring to finally really be here. I think I'm going to take a little break from blogging and really enjoy the season. I have so many projects that I'm really looking forward to working on. Hope you all have a wonderful Spring time!

New life for an old headboard


This headboard was on it's way to the dump when I rescued it out of my son's friend's truck. I cut the legs off, added a shelf. Then I painted it black and free handed the swirls. Then I sanded it to soften the painted swirls, stained it and added coat hooks. I love this piece...now I'm looking for headboards everywhere I go

    This looks awesome. I can't believe you painted the swirls (well actually I can). That is really a neat piece.
