Surprise

One of the best things about having lots of perennials in my garden is that they pretty much take care of themselves and just keep filling in. I have lots of plants and trees that come up all on their own,(I like to imagine that charming little fairies come and plant them in my yard on warm summer nights and then disappear in the twinkling of an eye, but I think "thanks" goes to the birds) This beautiful plant greeted me a few days ago. It only bloomed for a couple of days and then it was gone...What beauty Mother Nature gives us!
