Welcome Spring

After a long winter I'm so excited for spring to finally really be here. I think I'm going to take a little break from blogging and really enjoy the season. I have so many projects that I'm really looking forward to working on. Hope you all have a wonderful Spring time!

Another cupboard door.

Well I still have about 15 doors left so I had another idea for using one of them. I decided to make it a stocking holder. Easy to do, I just spray painted it red and added some pretty crystal knobs, and of course the vinyl lettering, "And the stockings were hung"

I used a pretty red ribbon to hang it and now it's already for Santa to fill the stockings. Perfect if you don't have a fireplace to hang your stockings.

  3. This is adorable! I love it and have been trying to figure out what to do for our family since we don't have a fireplace, or a mantle to put those heavy stocking hooks on!

This is a great idea, and I just might copy it for our stockings!

  9. That is a great idea. Especially for those who don't have a fireplace. You could use a wide range of knobs to accent the piece.

Another option is to hang a small track under a shelf (or mantel) with sliding hooks. The track can stay up year round and hooks can be removed and replaced as needed. We got on at curtain-tracks.com and love it.

  15. I LOOOOOOVE this! Cabinet doors I can get from our Habitat ReStore, but I don't have a Cricut for the letters. I didn't even hang our stocking this year because I was afraid the kids would pull them down and those heavy stocking hangers would konk them on the head and I cannot afford another E/R visit. I am bookmarking this for next year! Thanks so much for sharing. It's gorgeous!
