I didn't even bother to sand it down, just painted it with my new favorite creamy yellow color.
The details show up better with lots of distressing.
Amazing what a little paint can do!
I think it looks so much happier now and perfect in my front room.
I love sewing machine drawers but don't have any at the current time. Yours turned out so pretty and the details are awesome.
ReplyDeletewhat a cute piece! I love it.
ReplyDeleteLove those drawers... they remind me of a little table I had years ago, wish I would have never gotten rid of it! Theresa xoxo

ReplyDeleteI LOVE this piece! Great choice on the color! Really, I like all of your furniture "fixes", but this one especially!!
ReplyDeleteThat is just yummy! It went from unhappy caramel to vintage lemon chiffon with fine shabby details. Just gorgeous.

Oooooh-this piece is just wonderful - painted or not! But I do love the creamy yellow - one of my favorite colors. Might be why my house siding is creamy yellow :)
