So I sanded it down, it took a lot of sanding and wiped it down with paint thinner. Next I sprayed it with some primer, and painted it a soft cream color.
I think the scalloped top and the legs make this piece really interesting.
Of course I did some heavy sanding on the edges to give it that aged look.
I really like the difference sanding makes to the table. Once sanded I use mahogany stain and rub it in, then wiped the excess off with a little paint thinner.
Looks better with some of the stain wiped off, gives it a more natural look.
I love the French country look of the table.
